112: Shadows and Sacrifices

Session Summary

Under the cold, dark sky, our adventurers huddled by a river of molten lava, seeking warmth and discussing their journey north. They pondered why Primarius had taken the yeti—were they for sacrifice or for chilling experiments? The group debated the merits of flying unseen through the sky or moving silently on the ground and wondered if they could somehow use the fearsome dragon Gelidon or the yeti to their advantage.

Considering the use of a dream spell to reach out to the yeti without alerting Primarius was a risky thought. If their identities were revealed in the dream, their plans could be compromised. Yet, winning over the yeti could turn the tables in their favor.

That night, a dream unfolded where they, as Samam, met with the yeti and Primarius. They learned of Primarius's intent to repair the world at the ruins of Aeor and witnessed Gelidon demanding a sacrifice, hinting at the perilous path ahead.

Upon awakening, the group decided to approach the yeti village, where they were met with curiosity. They shared their fears about Primarius with Aloak, the village leader, uncovering a tangled web of past heroics and present dangers. Their mission became clearer: to shield the yeti and thwart Primarius's sinister plans, all while navigating the moral complexities and threats lurking in the shadows of their quest.
